Popular actor Rubina Dilaik had a narrow escape from a potentially fatal situation when her car was rear-ended by a truck driver at a traffic signal in Mumbai. Alongside her husband, Abhinav Shukla, she is now pursuing legal action against the driver. The incident has prompted Dilaik to raise awareness about the dangers of reckless driving and non-compliance with traffic rules, sharing another incident involving her aunt and cousins in Chandigarh.

Recounting the incident, Dilaik revealed, "My car was slowing down as the signal had turned yellow when suddenly I felt a jerk from behind. This happened near Inorbit Mall in Malad. The truck rammed into us from behind while my car was traveling at a speed of 40-60. The impact caused my head to hit the seat in front, and then I landed on my lower back. The impact was so intense that I was in shock for a few seconds. Abhinav came and handled the situation."

Shukla took to Twitter, warning others about reckless drivers on their phones and disregarding traffic lights. Dilaik added that the first thing her husband did was take her to the hospital for medical tests, which fortunately showed no major injuries. She expressed her concern about the rampant disregard for traffic rules, particularly at the junction between Bangur Nagar and Hypercity when heading towards Andheri. Dilaik shared that she had recently discussed this issue with Abhinav, lamenting how people carelessly jump signals. She also revealed a similar incident involving her aunt and cousins in Chandigarh, where a truck driver under the influence crashed into their car, causing severe damage. Fortunately, they also managed to escape with minimal injuries.

Expressing her concern for public safety, Dilaik emphasized the importance of following traffic rules and the need for accountability. She has taken legal action against the truck driver involved in her accident, emphasizing the need to raise awareness and not tolerate such incidents. Dilaik recounted another incident involving a friend and her five-month-old daughter, where their car was struck by another vehicle while waiting at a signal. These experiences have made Dilaik keenly aware of the dangers on the roads and the need for stricter adherence to traffic regulations.
